Woman charged with setting house on fire, police say | Crime

ALBEMARLE - Police arrested a 33-year-old woman for setting a house on fire.

Albemarle Fire & Rescue and Albemarle Police were called to a home in the 700 block of Mill Street in Albemarle on January 20.

The cause of the fire was rule suspicious, Albemarle Fire Marshall Brian Taylor said.

Christina Ann Rodden of Albemarle was charged with First Degree Arson on February 2.

She and given a $25,000 secured bond.
